Gouffre de Padirac
The Gouffre de Padirac is a massive natural chasm located a few kilometres from Rocamadour. This is one of the most iconic caves and chasms in France!

The chasm is 35 metres in diameter and plunges 75 metres down from the surface. 103 metres underground, you can see the River Padirac flowing through a network of galleries covering over 40 km!
Just ovre 1 kilometre of the cave system is open to the public. Your journey begins on a boat, from which you will see the Great Pendeloque, a stalactite over 60 metres long! You will then see the Lac de la Pluie, le Lac des Gours and finally Salle du Grand Dôme.
